Manager, Operations

We are looking for a driven and energetic operations leader to manage our San Francisco Flagship Center, in the role of Manager, Center Operations at Sollis Health. This is a highly cross-functional role that will oversee all operations in their designated Center, similar to running your own business, and work closely with the heads of many other departments. Strong leadership and exceptional organizational skills are critical, along with experience running medical clinics, physician practices, or hospital divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the San Francisco Flagship Center operation to include front end and back end operations while enhancing existing processes and workflows to create a patient centric practice.
  • Routinely reviews management reporting data to ensure operations are performing to budget and identifies ways to improve efficiency. Identifies operating costs and operational capital budget needs in collaboration with the Regional Director and Medical Director.
  • Oversees payroll in accordance with company policy and ensures timely and accurate completion.
  • Ensures quality measures are implemented and continually optimized for the medical center.
  • Continually seeking ways to improve patient, provider and staff engagement.
  • Tracks deficiencies and works collaboratively with various leaders such as the Medical Director and Director of Lab to ensure compliance and legal measures are met.
  • Initiates processes and improvements as needed, communicating with leadership and staff on changes accordingly.
  • Schedules staff appropriately across the medical center ensuring staffing models are kept up to date, ensures full coverage is met and establishes monthly schedules for providers and staff.
  • Works in collaboration with our Director of Facilities to ensure facilities are always spotlessly clean and comfortable for our high profile patients. Ensure clinics are properly sanitized, adhering to utmost standards and OSHA protocols.
  • Partners with leadership as well as HR to hire staff that is not only a skill but culture match.
  • Ensure staff is heard and creates a welcoming and transparent environment.
  • Ensure staff follows all policies and partners with HR for any disciplinary protocols.
  • Performs annual staff performance evaluations.

Experience:

We believe extraordinary people come from a variety of backgrounds, but ideally we would expect that you have:

  • Bachelor's degree required. Masters in Health Administration (MHA), Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or related degree, strongly preferred
  • 5+ years experience managing physician practices, concierge physician group, medical department, or hospital service line.
  • Have a passion for engineering a business, with a library of operational tools and resources from your previous experience

Skills:

To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Exceptional organizational, project management and process improvement skills. Must be able to juggle multiple projects at once and manage urgent requests.
  • Lean Six Sigma training highly desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail and a conscientious personality type.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally among departments and teams.
  • Strong technical and systems skills - ability to manage systems, EHR, compliance databases, and simple financial models.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional EQ - ability to listen to staff and act as their advocate when needed.
  • Ability to think and work independently, effectively, and efficiently as if running your own business.
  • Ambitious, strong work ethic, and open to new ideas.

Comp & Benefits:

Range: $100,000-$130,000

This is the anticipated rate/range Sollis Health reasonably expects to pay candidates for this position in San Francisco. Sollis Health is a multi-state employer and this rate/range may not reflect the pay for positions that are performed solely in localities outside of this location. Actual pay is dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, location, education, etc.
