Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Manager, Payroll and Benefits (Americas & EMEA) to join our Human Resources team.
The Manager, Payroll and Benefits will provide high quality support to the Global Head of Payroll and Benefits on a continual basis with the goal of maintaining the integrity of the Human Resources team and the business.
Responsibilities
- Processing regional payrolls and reconciling all regional taxes
- Payroll auditing and approving for all payroll in the Americas and EMEA (including US, Canada, UK, Israel, The Netherlands, France, and Germany)
- Overseeing tax filing and audit processes for all regional countries
- Vetting, reviewing, and presenting benefits opportunities within the regions
- Supporting the US payroll and benefits systems migrations and integrations with new platforms
- Supervising work of and providing coaching to the Payroll and Benefits Associates in Americas and EMEA
- Carrying out initiatives and projects set by stakeholders and the Global Head of Payroll and Benefits
- Providing analysis and proposals for regional payroll and benefits decisions using solid research methods and an understanding of Tower Research Capital
- Be a key contributor in continuing automation efforts and best practices in payroll and benefits operations
- Conducting payroll and benefits orientations, seminars, and one-on-one meetings
- Assisting Payroll Associates and employees with payroll and benefits related questions/issues
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Human Resources
- At least 7 years of HR experience in payroll and benefits
- Strong experience with Workday implementation and/or experience utilizing Workday payroll required
- The ability to execute processes and tasks with little supervision
- The ability to make prudent decisions based on company's goals and objectives
- The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters and respond effectively to such situations
- Strong communication skills
- Strong computer skills (MS Office & Google Suite) and knowledge of well-known payroll and benefits systems
- The ability to learn and understand new software and applications quickly
Anticipated annual base salary range $110,000 - $160,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus
