Manager, Payroll and Benefits (Americas & EMEA)

Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Manager, Payroll and Benefits (Americas & EMEA) to join our Human Resources team.

The Manager, Payroll and Benefits will provide high quality support to the Global Head of Payroll and Benefits on a continual basis with the goal of maintaining the integrity of the Human Resources team and the business.

Responsibilities

  • Processing regional payrolls and reconciling all regional taxes
  • Payroll auditing and approving for all payroll in the Americas and EMEA (including US, Canada, UK, Israel, The Netherlands, France, and Germany)
  • Overseeing tax filing and audit processes for all regional countries
  • Vetting, reviewing, and presenting benefits opportunities within the regions
  • Supporting the US payroll and benefits systems migrations and integrations with new platforms
  • Supervising work of and providing coaching to the Payroll and Benefits Associates in Americas and EMEA
  • Carrying out initiatives and projects set by stakeholders and the Global Head of Payroll and Benefits
  • Providing analysis and proposals for regional payroll and benefits decisions using solid research methods and an understanding of Tower Research Capital
  • Be a key contributor in continuing automation efforts and best practices in payroll and benefits operations
  • Conducting payroll and benefits orientations, seminars, and one-on-one meetings
  • Assisting Payroll Associates and employees with payroll and benefits related questions/issues

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Human Resources
  • At least 7 years of HR experience in payroll and benefits
  • Strong experience with Workday implementation and/or experience utilizing Workday payroll required
  • The ability to execute processes and tasks with little supervision
  • The ability to make prudent decisions based on company's goals and objectives
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive matters and respond effectively to such situations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office & Google Suite) and knowledge of well-known payroll and benefits systems
  • The ability to learn and understand new software and applications quickly

Anticipated annual base salary range $110,000 - $160,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus
