Manager, Python Development

We are actively seeking a highly motivated Manager, Python Development who will be leading a small team of engineers responsible for providing automation services for infrastructure teams. This is an exciting new role and we are looking for a person to take the next step in their engineering development leadership career. This person can be remote, based in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- These services will be part of the Five9 Private Cloud used by our application owners to quickly deploy and operate their applications.
- This is a hands-on position, but you will be responsible for setting priorities for the team and leading the overall development process.
Requirements:
- 5+ years Python development experience.
- 3+ years of experience developing backend APIs, FastAPI preferred.
- 2+ years as a Team Lead or Manager.
- Experience developing features in an Agile development environment using either Scrum and/or Kanban.
- Experience with pipelines and deploying code into Kubernetes.
- Willingness to be on call, including weekends.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Ansible and deploying infrastructure.
- Experience with OpenStack.
