RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Manage the daily Human Resources function for the assigned sites. This includes employment, promotion, job transfers, employment separations, employee complaint investigation, legal investigations and compliance, compensation administration, Employee Open Door activities, and labor relations. Advise supervisors and managers on application of Company policies to ensure consistency and accurate policy interpretation interdepartmentally.

Coach managers and supervisors on disciplinary actions, procedures and appropriate documentation. Review performance improvement plans and provide feedback to leaders prior to communicating with employees.

Investigate and resolve employee complaints timely using informed decision-making skills. Escalate more significant issues to the Director, Regional HR for resolution.

Collaborate with the Regional HR organization to develop programs and processes that promote a positive work environment. Conduct pro-active employee relations activities such as structured feedback sessions and employee recognition programs.

Counsel supervisors, and employees about on-the-job and formal training opportunities to develop new skills and prepare for advancement. Directing them to proper training resources and systems

Responsible for multiple sites across the United States. Approximately 400 FTE.
REQUIREMENTS
-
This position requires knowledge and experience with all facets of HR since the responsibilities include working with HR Specialists and HR Business Partners to improve the quality of HR outcomes at the site

Strong level of customer orientation and understanding customer needs together with analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
-
5+ years of experience Human Resources or a related professional setting.

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
-
Experience with relevant human capital management software (Workday) is a plus
-
Fluent communication and written English skills, Spanish would be a plus
-
Willingness to travel (30%, primarily regionally)
