Manager, Social Media & Partner Marketing

The Manager of Social Media & Partner Marketing is responsible for the day-to-day, customer-obsessed management and growth of multiple brands’ social media accounts by executing content-driven strategies that create engagement, build brand awareness, and drive multi-channel traffic & sales. Working with the Director of Social Media & Partner Marketing, and in cross-functional collaboration with Publishing and DTC Brand teams, the Manager will develop, create and execute tactics for owned and partner (author, influencer) social media accounts to drive audience growth, engagement and traffic to DTC sites.
Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day management and execution of Direct-to-Consumer team’s organic social channels, including content strategy and creation, posting, analytics and community management.
  • Identify, build and nurture partnerships with outside content creators
  • Be energized by real-time storytelling, capitalizing on moments in culture, with a lens towards brand fit.
  • Support strategic priorities to foster and grow the DTC brands’ footprint on social media and engagement with our audience depending on the channel / platform.
  • Work closely with Brand and Publishing teams to create a holistic calendar of social storytelling, respond to their briefings, and amplify campaigns across social channels.
  • Identify and nurture content partnerships to bring the HCCP DTC brands to different and diverse audiences across the social universe, through creative and customized engagement tactics (e.g. influencer book clubs and gifting campaigns.)
  • Oversee relationships with vendors and partners to complete tasks, including community management
  • Work with the Creative team to concept and project manage organic social content creation for brand campaign posts and stories, including photoshoots, illustrations, infographics, and graphic-led stories.
  • Work with the Brand and Publishing teams to give input on assets needed to promote upcoming collaborations and concept any ideas to support current partners along with making sure space is held in the social calendar for these campaigns.
Qualifications:
Work Experience:
  • 4-5 years total experience in a marketing role required; 1 year of social media management experience in a brand, agency or editorial setting required
  • Finger on the pulse of global and regional social and cultural trends.
  • Knowledge and understanding of social channels (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, Giphy, TikTok, etc.) and how each platform can be used most efficiently in different scenarios.
  • Experience using social media management and monitoring tools (Falcon, Iconosquare, Later, Flick, Sprout Social, etc.) to further goals.
  • Ability to interpret data using established analytics and reporting tools to understand campaign performance and create actionable programs on social platforms.
  • Experience working with content partners (e.g. influencers) on campaigns a plus.
  • Experience with e-commerce driven social media strategies a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s in Marketing or related field

Knowledge:
  • Comfortable with core social media marketing metrics
  • Active and engaged with social media platforms, with a pulse on emerging trends
  • Foundational understanding of influencer marketing
  • Foundational understanding of content creation
The salary range for this position is $50,000.00-$75,000.00. We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. As a result, we aim for flexibility in structuring competitive compensation offers to ensure we are able to attract the best candidates. The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process.
