Job Summary

The Manager, Supply Chain Technology, Manufacturing will be a member of the IT Team and will be expected to contribute, along with other peers, to the development of the company’s systems strategies, architecture, standards and policies, and the implementation, upgrade, and delivery of enterprise systems. Improves business processes and supports critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial business applications systems. Lead and facilitate Workshop Sessions, Manage Issues, Resources, and configuration specialist to ensure that specifications are met.

Job Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Enterprise Applications, the Manager, Supply Chain Technology, Manufacturing should have at least 10 years of Implementing and Supporting Manufacturing (Discrete and Process) using Oracle Fusion Cloud or similar applications. Knowledge in Purchasing, Order Management, Inventory, PDH and Planning.
  • Maintain close coordination with functional owners, and ability to elicit requirements and communicate clearly with non-technical individuals, Solutioning/Leading Fit-gap Analysis, Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) Functional configurations, Testing, Client user Testing with development teams, and other ancillary project members. Experience in leading customer workshop sessions in SCM Modules to introduce customers on the latest technology trends and best practices.
  • You will work on projects both large and small, evaluating scope, recommending approaches, timelines, and development needs, and rolling up your sleeves to do some configuration and development work as needed. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Perform impact assessments for Oracle Cloud upgrades, Manage configurations of the Oracle Cloud applications. Facilitate user acceptance and validation of functionality with the business. Coordinate feature/functions/incidents/enhancements with Oracle Support
  • Lead/Assist with the configuration and development of application objects, workflow, reporting, integration, and conversion programs within the Oracle Supply Chain Modules: Manufacturing, Planning, Purchasing. Support trouble shooting of Oracle integrations within and outside Oracle ERP through OIC, SSIS and MuleSoft
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Including coordination with offshore resources and process lead activities. Provide status reports and process area updates.

Scope

The Manager, Supply Chain Technology, Manufacturing, will contribute to the development of the company’s systems strategies, architecture and infrastructure, standards and policies, and the implementation, upgrade, and delivery of Oracle Fusion Manufacturing along with assisting in other SCM Modules. They are expected to provide best-fit solutions on multiple projects; you will assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments and functional testing and Business User Training.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelors or master’s in information technology or Computer Science related degree, or a commensurate combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 15+ Years progressive technical and functional experience with Manufacturing, Order Management, Inventory, Planning, purchasing systems using Oracle or similar applications.
  • 10+ years of experience working with implementing and/or upgrading ERP applications, effective application, and technical application support, working within integrated consulting and client teams
  • 10+ years’ experience leading software implementation process, including implementation and QA; experience working in an ITIL, and Agile environment is desired.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Manufacturing Cloud, Supply Planning Cloud, Development of Business Intelligence Publisher reports. Experience of data analysis using Smart View
  • The ability to show a high degree of initiative, to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs, and to continuously meet deadlines.
  • Strong organization skills, prioritization, and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously within a flexible work environment.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and a confidence in working with leaders within the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and a desire to consistently “peel the onion” to uncover opportunities for improvement with our team and our business and vendor partners.
