Manager, Tradeshows & Events
The Tradeshow Manager reports to the Director of Field Marketing and is responsible for supporting and executing various marketing activities including support for exhibits, tradeshows, conferences, company events, product displays, and showrooms to ensure successful execution. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing the logistics of exhibits ranging in size from small Tabletop exhibits to larger island booths. This includes logistical planning for large multi-segment tradeshows as well as supporting smaller sponsorships and meetings. The Tradeshow Manager must be able to communicate and coordinate with all levels of stakeholders, both internally and externally, in a professional and positive manner. In addition, s/he must be willing to accept ownership of projects and be successful in driving those projects, as well as daily tasks, to a successful conclusion.
What You Will Do:
  • Coordinate with audience owners the pre-conference plan and post-conference follow-up with tradeshow attendees, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead all aspects of the trade show and event program, including but not limited to; budgets, hotels, strategy, worksheets, logistics, vendor management, set up/tear down, purchase order creation, contracting and overall project management.
  • Maintain trade show intranet site for internal use
  • Maintain event calendar on the Intranet
  • Manage New Trade Show Request process
  • Manage Trade Show Timelines and Procedures
  • Create and update event checklist
  • Manage Post Show follow up forms
  • Oversee the trade show portable store - ensuring all procedures are followed; Monitor and evaluate new displays and inventory
  • Schedule and participate in trade show related meetings
  • Manage portals, paperwork, and logistics associated with trade show and update company information
  • Register attendees
  • Assist with giveaways and promotional material
  • Coordinate compiling and shipping of exhibit pieces and other marketing materials in a timely manner
  • Coordinate tradeshow samples with marketing and product teams
  • Attend events as needed
What You Need to Succeed:
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated event and trade show experience preferred or relevant sales experience
  • Proven track record of success in all facets of trade show and event coordination, from conception and planning to final execution
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including setting priorities and adapting to changes in a time-sensitive, deliverable-driven workplace
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communications and critical-thinking skills
  • Self-motivated, a self-starter, and flexible
  • Ability to create and track budgets using Excel
  • Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
  • Able to work evenings and weekends and travel as required up to 50% of the time
  • Onsite duties may require bending, walking, or standing for an extended period, as well as lifting and/or moving up to 75 lbs.
