Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree (journalism, marketing, or other relevant fields preferred but not required)
3+ years of digital content experience (experience within the online gambling space preferred)
Intimate knowledge of online gambling and casino culture/vernacular
Knowledge of most major casino games and US online casinos
An understanding of US online casino laws and regulations
Working or strong knowledge of WordPress
Working knowledge of SEO concepts and best practices for web writing and content strategy
Writing and editing that meets our standards
Ability to self-publish content befitting our quality requirements
Knowledge of major principles of AP Style
Strong communication skills

Responsibilities:

Work with the Product Owner to execute the website's tech and content strategy
Edit and publish content, including vital evergreen/long-form pages
Ensure content meets SEO requirements, including proper keyword choice and search-engine-friendly structure
Assist in editorial planning to produce accurate, compelling, and informative content
Manage in house and freelance copy editors and writers
Delegate our content strategy and other tasks to writers and employees
Act as a main point of contact for a team of content producers and writers (assign due dates, help with questions about writing, etc.)
Regularly liaise with the company's social media and video content teams, to create social-friendly web content when appropriate, and help ensure that The Game Day's overall content planning strategy and production resources are aligned
Uphold company style guide in all published web content
Communicating with our affiliates about special offers and promotions
Handle other website-related tasks when needed
