Construction Estimator

Manpower is assisting a prestigious client in hiring an experienced Estimator to assist with steel fabrication projects and ensure their successful execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimation and expertise in steel fabrication processes.This position is direct hire, full-time. Salary is $80k-$120k. Comprehensive benefits package. Paid relocation available!The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:• Perform both conceptual and detailed estimating on civil, architectural, and structural portions of projects• Produce quantitative surveys and accurate pricing for a project• Coordinate project documents for all delivery methods• Obtain and present unit pricing data.• Responsible for outlining clarifications and qualifications within an estimate.• Provide backup for estimates to be used during analysis and review.Required skills:• Excellent written and communication skills• Proficiency with programs from Microsoft office• Excellent leadership and communication skills, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and ability to prioritize organize, and manage time• The ability to work independently as well as part of a teamEducation & Experience:• Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree required• Experience with steel fabrication• 2+ years minimum experience
