SW Engineer (C++ / Industrial Automation)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a company that specializes in innovative industrial automation software solutions, is looking for an experienced Software Engineer with strong C++ skills

Our client is a dynamic company specializing in providing computer vision and robotics applications for the manufacturing sector.

📌 Location: Athens, Northern sector (walking distance from Metro Station)

📍 Working Model: Hybrid working model (3 days office, 2 remote)

🖋️You will be reporting to the MV/Robotics Manager

What you will do:

As a Software Engineer, you will significantly contribute to the development of technical solutions that meet the business/clients’ needs. You will work closely with testers and field engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery, providing your knowledge and professional expertise at every stage of the process.

More specifically you will:

• Develop and maintain software for computer vision and robotics applications for the manufacturing industry (automotive)
• Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to the newest standards
• Conduct unit testing and document code developments to ensure reliability and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with testers and field engineers to ensure high-quality software delivery
• Participate in the design and implementation of new features and enhancements
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues to improve performance and functionality

• A Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant
• Minimum 3  years of development experience using C++
• Familiarity with the Qt framework and UI design
• Solid object-oriented development skills
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD (Gitlab)
• Ability to resolve complex issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways
• Excellent communication skills in Greek and English (verbal and written)

Will be considered an asset any experience in the following:

• Knowledgeable about machine vision and robotic applications
• Experience in OpenCV or other computer vision libraries
• Experience in MS Visual Studio, REST API design, SPA web frameworks, .ΝΕΤ framework and .NET Core (.NET 5), SQL and DBs
• Written and verbal skills in German
