As a UX/UI Specialist, you will be responsible for working with our Product and Marketing Technology teams delivering member travel shopping experiences for Cruise, Hotels, Car, Air among others. You'll get to collaborate with peers on problems to solve, contribute to our design system evolution and deliver wireframes to guide development for multiple ecosystems with retail, members, clients and internal users. You’ll have responsibility for collaboratively and individually enhancing our products in focal areas of usability, accessibility, and aesthetics to drive engagement, conversions, and revenue as part of the UX team and Product Department.UX responsibilities include ensuring all design assets align with core UX principles and defined design patterns through collaboration, co-design, design reviews and research activities.A UX designer must have strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, and represent yourself as a UX knowledge source on the team with the ability to interpret business metrics and company goals into objectives and design expectations. You will need to prioritize and manage 1 to 2 milestones and projects efficiently and utilize your written and interpersonal skills to communicate with Domain Leaders, Developers, and Product teams.Responsibilities:• Deliver wireframes from low fidelity sketches to high fidelity polished assets for both complex product multi step designs to small design iterations.• Design patterns for key interaction points that provide consistency across products• Document and produce assets for a Design System• Understand, document and guide web responsiveness rules from Desktop to Mobile experiences, including Accessibility• Apply branding themes and assets in strategic locations to enhance user journeys and client expectations• Understand complex design requirements from product and extract them into visual designs while taking input from product leaders• Lead with empathy for internal, external users, design colleagues and peers• Adaptability to iterate on designs and projects since travel moves fast• Communicate designs effectively to other departments in the companyGood to have but not required:• Agile experience• Understanding of accessibility rules and guidelines• Usability, Marketing and behavioral data analysis• Prototyping in a tool such as Axure RP• 2+ yrs experience with Figma• Effective use of collaboration tools i.e. MiroRequirements:• Bachelors Degree or higher is required or an equivalent combination of 6yrs experience of Visual Design mixed with Interaction Design with education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the essential functions of the position• 5+ years of work experience in User Experience with emphasis on Product DesignWelcome to arrivia.
