The role
This is a fabulous opportunity to join a site on the up. There is a great team in place and we are looking for someone to come and lead the Hayes site on the next stage of its journey towards a leading edge manufacturing facility unlocking growth and value for the business. You will be responsible for our manufacturing operation as well as our Direct to Consumer fulfilment and operational aspects of our warehousing and dispatch.
We are looking for someone who has the knowledge of manufacturing improvement processes along with the drive and people skills to really make things happen in the site to deliver improvements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all aspects of site SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) and Quality to ensure we make fantastic products every day in a way which is continually improved and made safe for our employees, in an environmentally friendly way.
  • Responsible for making and dispatching stock on time in full through improvements in efficiency and productivity.
  • Responsible for overall Site costs and wastage and ensuring these come in on target
  • Responsible for all CAPITAL, Innovation and Change projects within the site

Experience

  • Experience leading large teams in manufacturing environments
  • Track record of leading change and achieving results
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement methodology and deployment
  • Experience of landing projects within a manufacturing environment
