The Red Hat Market Development team is looking for a Market Development Representative to join us in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for cross-collaboration with the Marketing and Sales organizations to identify and contact prospective sales leads, qualify them, and set up appointments, and generate pipeline for Red Hat’s sales teams. This entails following up on inbound leads as well as cold prospecting.
At least 6 months of experience in an SDR/MDR or Sales role, preferably in IT
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business, management, information systems, marketing, communications, or related field of study work experience or academic projects in sales, marketing, or information systems
Public Speaking & Presentation Skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Knowledge of sales techniques and systems like Salesforce.com (SFDC) or Outreach.io
Excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude
Strong references and demonstration of success in prior roles
A desire to make a positive impact on Red Hat's strategic mission
