Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Marketing and Communications Intern to be based in Las Vegas, NV.
_This position is expected to begin in July 2023._
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
+ Gain experience by working at tabling events to promote the Club Ride program to local commuters.
+ Assist in the marketing department with social media topic research, marketing projects, review and refresh marketing materials.
+ Work with the administration team on data entry, organizing databases, and contacting Club Ride winners and database validation calls.
+ Assist the project manager with various projects as required for program operations.
+ Learn about local transportation and make an impact on day-to-day commutes of employees/students.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
+ Currently in pursuit of Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English or related field.
+ Must have completed two years of study.
+ Valid driver’s license.
+ Due to the nature of this role, US citizenship or green card holder/permanent residency is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Ability to use web-based platforms for meetings and project collaboration.
+ Understands marketing and communications.
+ Hands-on experience / previous internship experience using social media to promote an organization, group or business.
+ Knowledge of social media analytics and social listening tools.
+ Background in understanding and providing metrics-based recommendations to improve engagement and increase followers.
+ Proficient in MS Office (current version): Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Strong written communication skills.
+ Strong organizational aptitude and attention to detail.
+ Ability to operate within a team setting.
Additional Information
+ General office environment; requires visits to project sites.
+ Some heavy lifting (< 30 lbs) may be required.
+ Field office work will require reliable transportation.
+ Provide Portfolio/work samples.
+ Relocation is not available for this position.
