Marketing Co-Op 2023 - job 2 of 2

The Co-Op Marketing Position supports activities for developing business strategies that achieve our organizational commitments and long-term growth goals. It is a role for those that are curious and have a desire to learn. Skills needed may include strong initiative, customer interfacing, communication both internally and externally, research, analytics, and data mining. At the end of the Co-Op, the candidate should have a thorough understanding of market trends, customers, vehicle systems, competition, and technologies related to the project assigned. this Co-Op is for the 2nd half of 2023.

• Researching and becoming familiar with assigned applications related to Vehicle Electrification
• Identifying trends in technologies, customer, and competitive landscapes
• Supporting market sizing modelling and Total Available Market (TAM) vs Serviceable Available Market (SAM)
• Understanding impacts to market due to legislative drivers

• Building competitor databases including company history, financial performance, product offering, strengths, and weaknesses
• May support competitor product benchmarking with partner from engineering team

• Building market pricing intelligence database using real-world market feedback from quotations and by researching 3rd party publications

• Identifying and quantifying sources of value versus the next best alternative
• Converting this value into a selling strategy

• Using all the above inputs, support definition of market channels and market entry strategy

• Strong desire to learn

• Able to work effectively both independently and in groups, and to collaborate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds around the world Strong written and verbal English
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word skills

• Pursuing or attained BS in Business or Engineering preferred
• Pursuing MBA a plus
