Marketing Communications Specialist/Copywriter

General Responsibilities
  • Support the firm’s content and communications strategies with strong copywriting skills in social media, email marketing, website content and thought leadership
  • Manage social media calendar and channels, including LinkedIn
  • Coordinate external and internal email communications using marketing automation program
  • Update and manage website content on WordPress platform
  • Collaborate with marketing and business/account stakeholders to develop and execute communication strategies
  • Measure effectiveness of marketing communications campaigns
  • Lead or support strategic/brainstorming marketing meetings with the firm’s niche and service line leaders
  • Provide copywriting and editing support for new business proposals
  • Execute SEO strategies through content performance management platform
Skills/Experience/Education:
  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or English strongly preferred
  • 3-7 years of experience working in a communications role within a marketing department or agency; professional services experience strongly preferred
  • Copywriting, editing and proofreading experience required
  • Understanding of integrated marketing communications strategies and how to measure and analyze results
  • Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience serving internal and external clients and partnering with various departments on marketing initiatives and projects
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Team player who is also self-motivated and can work independently
  • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with email marketing and content management systems strongly preferred
