Marketing Coordinator

Ecopia AI is seeking an energetic, motivated, and passionate Marketing Coordinator to fill an exciting position in a fast-paced and dynamic entrepreneurial workspace. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the successful candidate will have the incredible experience of working alongside a dynamic team with boundless growth potential. With Ecopia’s flexible hybrid remote working environment it's your choice to work from home and/or our office, located in the beautiful MaRS Discovery District building at 101 College Street in Toronto. You’ll make an impact by:
- Partnering with the greater sales and leadership team to support marketing strategies to build brand awareness and drive the acquisition of new customers.
- Assisting in managing the marketing calendar and coordinating participation in events such as industry award programs, trade shows, conferences, and speaking engagements.
- Assisting in website management, online advertising, SEO and SEM best practices to help meet marketing sales goals
- Assisting in writing, editing, and proofing original and engaging press releases, award submissions, and social media content.
- Supporting the design, development, production, and distribution of marketing collateral.
- Assisting in marketing analytics and data management including KPIs, monthly reporting and campaign performance trackers
- Assisting the Director of Marketing with general administrative requests and day-to-day tactical requests.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of marketing experience.
- A firm grasp of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and content marketing.
- A highly creative individual with exceptional attention to detail and strong project management skills.
- Independent self-starter, entrepreneurial thinker, and adaptable to change in a constantly evolving high-intensity tech startup environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as copywriting and proofreading skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or other popular graphic and video editing software is considered an asset.
