Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC) is seeking a passionate Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team to support firmwide marketing efforts. This is a full-time position in which the ideal candidate understands the importance of meeting client and company goals from a branding and storytelling perspective. We are looking for a team player who can also work independently in a deadline-driven environment. Candidates must be curious, organized, and able to communicate clearly with colleagues and potential clients. We are looking for someone who can organize, coordinate, and produce quality RFQ/P responses as well as presentations that meet the staff and pursuit needs.The position can be based in Chicago, St. Louis, or Los Angeles.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Organize, coordinate, and produce high-quality, on-time and effective proposals, qualifications, and presentations.
- Collaborate with senior market leaders, technical and design staff, and consultants across a variety of sectors to produce RFP/Q responses.
- Produce other marketing efforts as they arise, including but not limited to award submissions, internal newsletters, and LJCs design annual publication.
- Write and/or update new project narratives and personnel resumes to be used for marketing purposes.
- Graphic design knowledge in layouts, typography and marketing language attention to detail.
- Contribute to the maintenance and accuracy of CRM, Knowledge Management, and Marketing Drive, etc.
- Collaborate with designers, architects and other professionals on other projects as needed.
- Maintain LJC brand across all marketing channels.
Education/Experience/Attributes
- Bachelors in design, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- 3 5 years of experience working in marketing in a professional service field, preferably in the built environment (architecture, engineering, construction, development, and/or real estate).
- Experience with producing and responding to RFPs.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a creative environment with multiple deadlines.
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
- Graphic knowledge in layouts, typography and marketing design language.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Collaborative and proactive personality with excellent time management skills.
- Conscientious problem solver.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
