The Marketing Coordinator Products is responsible for the execution of a wide range of marketing tactics to support strategic growth for the designated institutes or services. The Marketing Coordinator must be flexible to the demands of a fast-paced, quickly changing environment. The essential function of this position is to assist in supporting the work priorities of the Principal and Program Product leads. Supports marketing strategies through implementation and management of tactical initiatives.
Display consistent ability to use desktop skills and work to enhance skills.
Support strategic marketing events and CME conferences
Evenings and weekends may apply when supporting marketing conferences/events
Create and distribute agendas and notes from meetings for Institute updates as directed by the Institute Principal.
Review written materials to ensure clear understanding to the reader.
Display good proofreading and editing skills to ensure accuracy.
Develop production schedules and meets deadlines.
Maintain good rapport with contractors and suppliers and knowledgeably discuss production factors to ensure product quality.
Keep accurate records of projects developed, quantities and costs to facilitate more effective future requests for similar pieces.
Work closely with the marketing coordinator to recommend layout, improved design elements, photography ideas and most effective presentation of information.
Update information on system website.
Is an active and participating member during department and “all staff” meetings to obtain and exchange information
Work closely with staff to ensure understanding of production needs, set production schedules, and meet deadlines.
Creatively and accurately produce various promotional pieces, including ads, newsletters, flyers, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in brand and marketing with a demonstrated track record of success.
Preferred:
Knowledge of the health industry preferred.
Knowledge and experience with marketing events and/or CME conference planning
