We need a Marketing Operations Project Manager to join the Designit team that supports Microsoft Cloud Marketing Blog and Social. This world-class social team operates 100+ social media channels and 20+ marketing blogs designed for developers, IT decision makers, IT implementers, business decision makers, and end users. Each month, we publish over 3,000 social posts to help, inform, entertain, and engage community members across the globe. Azure, Power BI, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams are just a few examples of the 170+ innovative products and services that comprise the Cloud Marketing Blog and Social ecosystem
The Marketing Operations Project Manager supports the Cloud Marketing Blog and Social Team to ensure efficient operations of people management and work processes. In this role, you will report to the Designit Cloud Marketing Blog and Social Delivery Manager and lead projects that drive overall team success and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen and excels at project management, problem solving, and collaboration across teams. This individual successfully communicates and presents to senior level managers.
What you will do:
- Partner with Team Leads & FTE Leads to identify and prioritize projects and programs to drive design improvement, clarity, and efficiency
- Strategize and facilitate execution of change management initiatives
- Develop and maintain foundational and supporting internal documentation
- Proactive approaches to solving complex design and operational problems
- Work closely with Designit Practice Leads, Delivery Manager, and Account Manager, in partnership with Microsoft client, to identify opportunities for change
- Work effectively across internal teams at Designit to drive clarity, operational rigor, and process improvement
- Independently manage a portfolio of large complex projects and programs from concept through to pilot and full implementation
- Contribute to short- and long-term organizational planning and strategy
- Keep management informed of key issues and potential impact to business results
- Work with stakeholders to define project roadmaps and deliverables
- Work with Team Leads and Delivery Manager to oversee ad hoc request intake across workstreams
- Handle vendor processing requirements with Microsoft teams (submission into tools, onboarding support ‘tech link’ etc.)
- Facilitate team member onboarding, offboarding, and title changes
- Support all rhythm of the business (RoB) meetings with PowerPoint deck support, note taking, recaps, meeting logistics, etc.
What you bring:
- 3+ years in a client-facing role at a marketing agency or large corporate enterprise
- 1 – 2 years of experience in project management
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, operations, management, or related field
- Proven track record of taking a strategic and deeply customer-minded approach to social media
- Experience using social media management tools such as Opal, Sprinklr, and Power BI
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook
- Customer service experience preferred

Compensation Range: $90,000 - $95,000
This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity.
