POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for marketing and promotion of the Bank’s products and services through social media and other media outlets. This encompasses working with the various departments in the bank and members of the community to develop quality marketing products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Social Media

Lead on social media. Responsible for maintaining a consistent social media presence and reporting on the effectiveness of our social media efforts as well as conducting monthly social media audits.

Manage content, posting, and engagement, for multiple social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.

Research and develop content for maintaining regular postings across multiple social media platforms.

Regularly report on social media trends and activity and make recommendations for improvement.

Responsible for assisting with maintaining the bank’s website content/copywriting
Website
-
Serves as a backup for maintaining and updating the bank’s website and copywriting as needed.

Maintain an understanding of the Content Management System solution.
Copywriting
-
Writing and editing content will be a primary responsibility for this position. Understanding of locating and using resources to obtain reputable content sources.

Assist with seeking and developing content for a variety of products, services, and business needs including but not limited to website, social media, print collateral, special messages, account alerts/notices, and community/event messaging.
Digital Marketing

Assist in developing email marketing campaigns on a regular cadence using the bank’s email marketing platform.

Assist in the development and management of digital customer onboarding.

Some experience or knowledge of email marketing is beneficial.

Some experience or knowledge of manipulating graphic images or video content is beneficial.
Branding
-
Assist in supporting the bank’s brand standards; ensure external and internal messaging and design concepts for the bank adhere to the bank’s standards and compliance.

Assist with the establishment and maintenance of online promotional vendors, selecting products, ensuring products are on brand and managing inventory and reporting. Some experience and/or knowledge of branding concepts are required to help facilitate design requests for special projects, sponsorship and event requests, and other initiatives as warranted.
Corporate Marketing

Supports the Director of Corporate Marketing with assigned bank responsibilities and/or special projects, or other duties as assigned.

Assist with internal and external communications outside of social media, when necessary.

Completes special projects or other tasks as requested.

Assist with marketing-related requests from banking centers as well as other departments and divisions.

Works with marketing management/ team to track requests and maintain open lines of communication to ensure requests are filled.

Assists with managing Marketing Department’s internal SharePoint portal page, updating with new activities, notices, and initiatives keeping associates informed.

Responsible for complying with all applicable banking law and regulations.

Responsible for complying with all aspects of the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations, and the Office of Foreign Asset Control regulations.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Work overtime as assigned.

Regional Marketing Communications

Assist with bank/branch events.

Assist with marketing branch audits.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
Required Knowledge: Professional communication across various media channels
Strong social media background
Experience Required: 5-7 years of related experience.
Adobe Creative Suite experience
Skills/Abilities: Microsoft Office
Elevated competency of social media channels with an emphasis on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
High aptitude for learning computer-based programs
AP Style and news writing
Strong relationships within industry and local area
