Marketing Specialist

Onset Financial of St. George, UT, is seeking to hire a strategic and motivated individual to join our Marketing team as a Marketing Specialist. As a Marketing Specialist, your job is to make Onset stand out! You will tell the Onset story through social media posts, press releases, collateral writing, and award submissions. You will develop and administer social media content to engage users through consistent posts and interactions. You will help support our internal team by advising them on their social media presence on sites like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram - as well as monitoring for opportunities for increased engagement.

What you will be doing:

• Work closely with the Marketing team to design and implement a social media strategy to align with Company goals
• Promote social media internally with employees - including the training and assistance of employee usage
• Monitor and report on social media KPIs
• Write publications and collateral, which include case studies, transaction summaries, magazine, and book content, press releases, and award submissions
• Review and edit messages to ensure they are clear, thorough, on-brand, and preserve the Company's reputation
• Proactively identify topics to write press releases on with the purpose of strengthening visibility for Onset
• Work with the VP of Marketing to develop and deliver marketing materials for use by applicable audiences
• Brainstorm and collaborate with the team to generate new ideas for swag, quarterly incentives/themes, sales training, All-Hands, etc.
• Create training PowerPoints
• Other duties as assigned

What you should have:

• Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills
• Positive attitude and a detail-oriented mindset with good multitasking and organization ability
• A knack for problem-solving
• A desire for continuous improvement and a curious mindset
• A proven portfolio of public relations writing
• Experience with the Microsoft suite, Grammarly, Adobe CC Suite, PowerPoint, etc.
• Excellent with and enjoys working in a team environment with frequent creative brainstorming sessions
• Experience with camera equipment a plus
