Overview:
The Marketing Specialist displays project manager-like qualities as they take ownership of assigned areas within Marketing that may be region, business or channel-specific and based on level of skill. Responsible for understanding Partner marketing needs and delivering the strategic marketing approach. The Marketing Specialist brings together process, creativity, and marketing expertise to collaborate with others to deliver world-class marketing.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage assigned brand and corporate marketing requests.
- Provide support to clients by listening, strategizing and collaborating to resolve and provide world-class marketing results.

Present findings to the marketing team and (where appropriate) senior leadership - be the voice of our requesting Partners, communicating their needs and pain points to help the marketing team develop resources to meet their goals.

Multi-task and manage time through understanding resources.

Create content for marketing materials, including social media, blogs, flyers and other print or digital collateral.

Update project files and enter data into marketing systems, including CRM, social media and websites.

Follow established marketing processes and recommend opportunities for improvement.

Contribute to department brainstorms for creating purposeful, strategic marketing solutions for a growing national mortgage brand.

Ensure that all content meets the brief objectives and has been proof-checked.

Travel (10%) to meet face-to-face with account clients to discuss progress and plans.

Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in relatable area or proven experience in marketing.
- 2 years’ experience in marketing or relevant marketing-specific internship experience.
- Corporate experience a plus.

No previous mortgage experience necessary.

Marketing Skills and Tools – content development, graphic design experience (a plus); digital tools, including CRM, email marketing, social media, social media scheduling tools, website publishing tools (CMS) or analytics.

Project Management Skills – understanding scope, deadlines, leveraging resources, collaborating effectively with other Partners, meeting or exceeding deadlines.

Communications Skills – both verbal and written, clarifying assignments, progress, status, and questions. Ensuring all work aligns to brief and is proofed.

Organizational Skills – fulfilling deadlines, time management, prioritization.

Interpersonal Skills – excellent people skills, collaboration with team members and diverse Partners across all departments.
