Director, Credit Risk Operations
Marqeta is looking for a Director of Credit Risk Operations to oversee and optimize the operational aspects of credit programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit operations, process optimization, and team leadership within the fintech or financial services industry.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive operational strategy for credit programs
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve credit program operations while mitigating risk
- Analyze credit performance metrics and key risk indicators
- Establish quality assurance standards and procedures
- Collaborate with risk management and compliance teams
- Support Credit Product and Technology teams
- Implement monitoring processes to track credit exposures
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS Finance) preferred
