Senior Director, Associate General Counsel, Commercial
Marqeta is seeking a Senior Director, Associate General Counsel, Commercial to lead Marqeta's Commercial Legal Team and be a strategic partner to the Revenue, Product, and Finance Teams.
Skills
- Negotiation and drafting agreements
- Risk mitigation and balancing legal risks with business objectives
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in teams
Responsibilities
- Lead in-house team of attorneys supporting sale of products and services
- Mentor and develop in-house attorneys
- Assist in resolving complex issues in strategic agreements
- Support global expansion and drive strategy to improve contracting processes
- Work collaboratively across Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance teams
Education
- JD degree and member in good standing of a State Bar
