Job Description:Channel Marketing Manager -VeterinarySt. Charles, MOFranklin, TNHybrid (on-site 2-3 days a week)The Veterinary Channel Marketing Manager acts as the hub for channel strategy development, joint business planning, promotional activity, and the deployment of winning in-clinic solutions for Royal Canin veterinary. This role represents the intersection of sales and marketing to internal stakeholders and is actively involved in external partnerships and planning.The role is responsible for linking marketing brand plans to customer plans by translating marketing strategies into meaningful and actionable sales programs and leads the go-to-market process in support of this.What are we looking for?• Bachelor’s degree, required preferably in Business, Marketing, or Finance.• 4+ years of combined work experience in marketing, category management, or sales/account management.• Sales experience or prior direct account management.• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.• Previous experience in customer focus to drive planning and results.• Demonstrated ability in crafting effective customer presentations.• Experience gaining consensus from cross functional teams.• Strategic and organizational agility, evidenced by a track record of navigating complex business challenges with multiple stakeholders.• Success in managing competing priorities and having been able to influence and set priorities to drive teams to consensus and action.What would be your key responsibilities?• Take components from annual execution plan and work across the business (Sales Leaders, National and Key Account Managers, Veterinary Marketing, Category, Finance, Digital Technology, Demand and Supply) to translate marketing strategies into meaningful and actionable sales programs that deliver.• Develop customer facing presentations to support product innovations/launches and marketing programs.• Actively engage with Category & Insights team to gather market insights that can be leveraged in action plans and selling decks.• Collaborate with sales teams, regularly visit veterinary clinics, and attend events as needed.• Lead and coordinate a regular cadence of meetings with sales, seeking sales input, to facilitate excellence in execution across the business.• Support the development of the quarterly playbooks for the Sales Team with the Portfolio Communications Manager.• Work with Portfolio Managers to develop support materials, inclusive of customer timelines and reviews.• Represent veterinary marketing and act as main liaison with Sales Leaders and National/Key Account Managers and Shopper Marketing across the business (shaping plans, providing key marketing information as needed, etc.).• Lead the development of the annual bench deck for joint business planning and represents marketing in all joint business planning conversations/presentations.• Lead promotional strategy for channel customers.• Gather insights from the market, analyze and monitor impact of promotional strategy on portfolio performance.• Evaluate activity ROI and recommend future opportunities.• Provide activity roll-up for vet demand leader review.• Ensure financial responsibility and accountability.What can you expect from Mars?• Work with over 130,000 with diverse and talented Associates, all guided by The Five Principles.• Join a purpose driven company, where we’re striving to build the world we want tomorrow, today.• Best-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.• An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.All applicants must have permanent legal authorization to work in the United States.
