What are we looking for?

Required 

• Minimum one year forklift experience 
• High School Diploma or equivalent Approved Document
• Effective written and verbal communication skills 
• Self-directed with organizational and time management skills  Ability to work overtime and tight schedules in high pressure situations.
• Flexible to rotating shifts as instructed.
• Physical Requirements  Sufficient mobility, strength, flexibility, hearing and sight to access all job relevant areas and perform routine activities as necessary to deliver required results.  Some pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, and lifting up to 50lbs. 
• Ability to work 12 hour shifts under stressful conditions such as heat, cold, high spaces and have mobility to do repetitive bending and twisting.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Load trailers according to loading specifications completely assuring accurate and damage free product ensuring stable transport of product to it’s next destination. 
• Receive, unload, inspect and correctly document all warehouse in-bound shipments (finished goods and materials) using safe procedures while maintaining the quality of all products and using accurate inventory management procedures. 
• Conduct trailer inspections prior to loading trailers for product shipment and after unloading inbound trailers. 
• Proper securement of trailers before, during, and after the loading or unloading process. 
• Operate PITs (Powered Industrial Trucks) to move product from the end of the stretchwrapper to trailers or within the warehouse as deemed appropriate while operating in a manner maintaining required safety and sanitation levels. 
• Repair and recoup damaged goods as accidentally created during product movement and as required. 
• Supply production lines with packaging, misc. packs, pallet, dry ingredients or other related needs in an accurate manner following FIFO principles for these items. 
• Perform accurate inventory transactions using Warehouse Management Systems. 
• Organize warehouse and all warehouse supplies and materials. 
• Report or take appropriate action when quality checks do not meet set specifications. 
• Properly escalate when active production is not upholding customer requirements. 
• Must know the product “Hold” criteria of all applicable areas. 
• Participate and adhere to all food safety requirements, Quality Management Processes, and site safety programs ensuring that all standards are met. 
• Demonstrate a quality culture in actions, words and spirit.
