We’re always seeking to transform today’s talent into the leaders of tomorrow – start your journey at Mars today.Petcare Project Engineering Internship ExperienceAs a Petcare Project Engineering Intern, you will gain exposure to the following areas:• Develop a capital project that will drive continuous improvement at a factory, with a cross-functional team• Be the overall project manager on executing the capital project (ex: improvements on human safety, food safety, and line efficiency/waste)• Assess areas of opportunity, recommend solutions/options and support the process for capital approval• Manage the project budget, and issue purchase orders for equipment/parts and installation work• Develop and maintain a project scheduleWhat are we looking for?• We are looking for humble and hungry, agile students who have a drive for results, a desire to learn, and who can quickly build relationships.• We are looking for students who are passionate about engineering and the consumer products industry.• Desired majors include: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or other related Engineering degrees• Students will intern at a plant the summer prior to their final graduation date (typically rising seniors)• We have internship opportunities in: Leipsic, Ohio area• Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work status authorization or visa sponsorship for employment• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening• Some of the positions available might be at a facility that allows dogs and cats on site.
