With 170 offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world’s leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).A day in the life.As a Private Client Advisor on the Private Client Services National team, you’ll successfully support a high-volume book of business associated with a transformational center of influence relationship and work alongside tenured colleagues to gain experience and skill sets for professional growth:• Reviews client exposures, risk tolerance, loss experience and current coverages and recommends appropriate products and services.• Presents clients with accurate market data from appropriate resources to advice and counsel on complex risks• Provides day-to-day client service by responding to client questions and issues on Zoom, over the phone or via email• Ensuring availability to answer incoming calls from clients during the designated time frame (8:00 am – 5:00 pm ET)• Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests via phone coverage in a courteous and helpful manner• Directing calls to the appropriate department or team member for further assistance, if needed• Creates and presents renewal proposals to existing clients and conducts annual interactive Client Advisory Reviews where appropriate (Zoom and Phone)• Understands, introduces and leverages the services of Private Client Services (PCS) Specialty Practices areas, as appropriate, including surplus lines placements• Accountable for client retention through delivery of exceptional client service• Confidence in cultivating opportunities from within the centers of influence• Responsible for new business development of assigned book of business through referrals and expanding existing client programs• Negotiates with multiple insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options for clients and prospects, while conforming to all laws, regulations and requirements governing the insurance industry• Ability to quote coverages for existing clients• Communicates client’s risk solution and binding instructions to carriers• Implements and maintains a quality service plan ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, and other relevant documents that are delivered to clients• Utilizes the Agency Management System in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all pertinent account information• Ensures that all regulatory requirements are met and complies with all internal policies and procedures• Escalates internal and external service concerns that clients may be experiencing to appropriate departments for action and prevention of further client impactOur future colleague.We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:• Previous personal lines insurance experience with High Net Worth clientele• Property & Casualty (P&C) License• Client facing experience• Client service orientation with balance on managing expectations• Ability to work well in a team environment• Strong technical and computer skills (MS Office tools, etc.)• Flexibility to travel in the surrounding local area as client and company needs requireThese additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:• Bachelor’s degree• Professional designations a plus, e.g., CPCU, CIC, CPRIA, etc.• Previous experience with an Agency Management System preferred• Key relationships with luxury carriers, such as AIG, Chubb, PUREWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
