Marketing Ops Specialist

Job Overview

As part of the newly created Marketing Operations team, the Marketing Operations Specialist will focus on implementing and optimizing marketing technology platforms to drive positive change and operational efficiencies across the department. This role will specifically champion Asana as an integral workflow management tool to bring the Marvin Marketing Playbook and Ways of Working to life.

 

The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy problem solver who has experience with workflow management, process documentation, and teaching others how to best utilize software solutions.

Highlights of your role

  • Asana Implementation: Spearhead the discovery process to understand cross-functional requirements from the Marketing team. Build out Asana – including rules, templates, automations, etc. – based on requirements, workflows, and strategic objectives. Create data flow process maps.
  • Asana Training & Support: Provide onboarding and ongoing training to Marketing team members using a people-oriented approach. Act as the primary contact and escalation point for users. Create and update SOP guides and resources for processes, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations. Deliver timely, audience-focused communications as needed.
  • Asana Optimization: Identify additional capabilities and requirements as surfaced by the Marketing team and collaborate with the Digital Product & Engineering team to deliver solutions. Implement cadenced updates aligned with strategic objectives. Lend your perspective for Asana integrations with other marketing technology platforms.
  • Asana Reporting: Develop reporting dashboards in collaboration with the Director of Marketing Operations. Monitor data quality within the tool.

Compensation

$60,000 - $80,000

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • 3+ years of experience implementing SaaS solutions with a strong understanding of workflow management software capabilities and available integrations; Asana experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience organizing information, thinking critically, communicating effectively, and working both independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive work style with track record of self-directed learning and ability to learn quickly within a fast-paced team
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365
