DESCRIPTION: The Associate Product Manager is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the Product Manager, the Associate Product Manager will assist in delivering an industrial mining software product to the market. This is a rare invitation to join a small, highly professional entrepreneurial group, with the backing of the most established player in the fast-growing crypto space.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Assist Product Managers and Senior Product Managers in conducting market research and developing product/feature specifications.• Take an active part in collecting and analyzing quantitative product data.• Develop expertise in mining operations, providing the necessary data needed to develop algorithms that help improve operational efficiency for customers.• Ensure that the product follows the product roadmap and vision, based on the ideas of the company, customers, and any other stakeholders.• Play a key role in scaling the application and developing features that change the game for enterprise customers.WHAT YOU WILL DO:• Conduct and analyze customer research to help develop product strategies, identifying the most effective research method that can provide insights and inform action.• Develop feature specifications for key features under the direction of the Product Manager, in collaboration with the Engineering Manager and Product Designer.• Support Product backlog management, appropriately prioritizing tasks and communicating with key stakeholders.• Assist with road mapping, ensuring continued alignment with business goals and customer needs.• Engage in User Story Creation, writing and prioritizing user stories that clearly define the requirements and acceptable criteria for new features• Develop and deliver training materials/sessions for key stakeholders to ensure they understand new product features• Ensure all product related documents-specifications are up to date and easily accessible to stakeholdersMinimum Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: (Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications to qualify for the role)• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.• At least two years of product management experience working on technology-powered products.• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork abilities.• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques of modern product discovery and delivery.• Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and cross-functional leaders in a collaborative relationship.• Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, strategy, finance, sales, and marketing.Preferred Qualifications; Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Knowledge of cloud software product development; knowledge of software related to monitoring large-scale industrial operations or systems is a plus.• Knowledge of blockchain, the bitcoin protocol and/or bitcoin mining is a plus.• Proactive self-starter with a solutions-focused, positive attitude.• Team player with a flexible, curious mindset.• Strong written and verbal communication skills.• Comfort adapting to changing situations and priorities with a high sense of accountability and urgency.• Proficiency in Atlassian tools including Jira.The salary range for this role is $75,000-$115,000 This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.This range only includes base compensation and does not include other tangible benefits such as 401K match, bonuses, overtime pay, and other benefits.
