Job Description

Grow sales in the Braking Category in their sales territory. Work to establish effective, long-term relationships with customers. Support Sales initiatives in the Independent Automotive Aftermarket.   Build relationships with existing accounts while innovating development with new channels.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share within the USA aftermarket for automotive brake pads and rotors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key aftermarket distributors, retailers, and automotive industry partners, fostering collaborative partnerships.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new distributors and e-commerce platforms, to expand the company's distribution network and customer base.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for new product development, market expansion, and promotional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the GRIE team to develop and implement effective sales and promotional programs, including trade shows, product launches, advertising, and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts, analyzing performance, setting targets, and providing support to drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to the management team, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and market dynamics to ensure compliance and competitive positioning of the company's products.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings, promoting the brand and building strong industry relationships.

Competencies

  • Proven track record of successful sales within the automotive aftermarket industry, focusing on brake pads or related automotive parts.
  • Positive attitude, results-driven, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of the USA automotive aftermarket distribution channels, including experience working with aftermarket distributors, retailers, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset, able to identify market opportunities, drive sales growth, and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry partners.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with customers, support the sales team, and attend industry events.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Microsoft PPT, Excel, and Project management Tools

Qualifications

  • Experience or background in the automotive brake industry is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Technical Discipline,  Business, or Engineering -4 year degree preferred
  • Minimum 1-5 years of automotive experience
  • Analytical and able to make short- and long-term decisions
  • Ability to travel +60%
