Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

The material handler is responsible for supplying internal operations and other process flows with production material and, if necessary, auxiliary and operating materials.

The task includes the following activities:

  • Goods receipt
  • component storage
  • Filling of parts
  • Material Transport and distribution of goods to the transfer areas of shopfloor location
  • Creation / Storage of DHR documentation (COC) (applies exclusively for clean room & assembly)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Transport and distribution of goods to the transfer areas of the shopfloor location
  • Checking the delivery for completeness
  • Storage and retrieval of goods with the aid of various forklift trucks
  • Packaging and shipping activities
  • Picking and recording of goods by means of MDE device (mobile data entry)
  • Securing / monitoring the material supply by means of Kanban system at the production lines
  • Carrying out the physical inventory
  • Cleaning and disinfection of endoscopes from the fields
  • Observe instructions and regulations relating to environmental protection when carrying out assigned duties.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Department Operating Procedures (DOPs), and work instructions
  • Follow all corporate, regulatory, safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

  • Warehouse technician with minimum 1 year of work experience in a production environment
  • The ability to understand and implement the basic material flow from stockroom to finished product, bill of material structure, and cycle counting procedures
  • Ability to work as a team player
  • Ideally first experiences with Kanban cycles
  • High reliability and accuracy
  • Be a motivated self-starter and work team player
  • Independent working style and high resilience
  • Ability to work in a controlled environment room, this includes wearing clean room gowns and booties
  • Minmum High School Diploma or equivalent

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1:$41,900 - $56,700
Base Salary Range Region 2: $35,600 - $48,200
