Material Handler

  What You Will Do:

  • Coordinate efficient flow of materials and products throughout manufacturing and assembly process.

  • Plans, orders, and expedites materials needed in the manufacturing process.

  • Perform shipping and/or receiving procedures during order fulfillment or inventory replenishment in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Load and/or unload materials from transport trucks and store inventory.

  • Maintains proactive contact with suppliers to understand order status, packaging problems, pricing, and other matters.

  • Coordinates inventory levels relative to manufacturing capacity and capability; compiles and schedules orders.

  • Perform daily forklift operations and inspections.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

  • Contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.

  Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role/warehouse environment

  • At least 1 year of experience in forklift driving, operations and maintenance

  • Safety oriented

  • Team player

  Physical Demands:

  • Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing.

  • Minimal collating/filing and sitting less than

  • Occasional climbing stairs between

  • Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, crawling, lifting up to 40lbs, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, handling, finger manipulation, walking, seeing, hearing, writing, and speaking. Constant standing greater than 50%.
