Material Handler - 2nd Shift

Chapter 2, Inc. is currently seeking to fill a Material Handler position in its Production Department on 2nd shift. Hours are 2pm-10pm Monday-Friday and overtime on Saturday every four weeks.

Job Summary:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inventory management-moving parts to and from warehouse.
• Routing of materials
• Ensure forklift safety and compliance by facilitating inspections (daily & monthly) and maintenance.
• Assist Production department with machining or assembly as needed.
• Maintains specifications by taking measurements, detecting malfunctions and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Sustains safe operations by following safety procedures and regulations.
• Supports continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and needs.
• Documents events by completing Production and Quality (department) logs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate(s) should be a reliable and responsible individual, able to work independently and well with others. Must have excellent attendance record! Heavy lifting and standing is required. At least 1-year previous forklift experience preferred but not required.

Wage: $16-$18 per hour base, Shift premium $3 per hour
