$1.00/hr. Shift Differential Applies for 2nd Shift

Regular Shift Hours - 3:30 pm - 12:00 pm (OT Required)

While reporting to the team leader, you will primarily be responsible for the safe operation of material handling equipment to enable the efficient flow of material/products and the accurate loading/unloading of material/products. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot discrepancies. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
• Responsible for daily inspection of material handling equipment.
• Responsible for 5S and/or general housekeeping of work area and department.
• Responsible for accurate information regarding quantities being loaded or unloaded.
• Supports plant in any given area including lumber/Hol-Tec, T&N, Final Processing and Shipping.
• Coordinate and support product/material flow with production teammates to achieve key line metrics.
• Operate material handling equipment with a keen focus on stacking and pedestrian safety.

This position is located at our facilities located in Jefferson, TX where wood reels are produced and recycled.

• You will lift at least 50 pounds and stand for at least 8 hours
• You will need to have the ability to think on your feet and troubleshoot problems and situations.
• You will need to have the ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• Having the ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to success.
• Being reliable, having good initiative, being committed, and being quality focused is a must.
• Work mandatory overtime as required.
