Material Handler/Forklift Operator

• Experienced forklift operator responsible for pulling raw materials and maintaining inventory location accuracy.
• Ability to perform manual labor: push, pulling, lifting up to 50 lb. occasionally, walking and potential up and down off the lifts.
• Ability to load, unload, move, stack and stage product, using stand-up & sit-down forklifts, clamp truck or other power equipment for picking receiving, put away and load functions.
• Ability to assist with picking, packing and pallet building.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective way.
• Team oriented thinking.
• Need to be a team player and willing to help out others when not busy.
• Keep area clean and well organized.
• Willingness to learn and work to the best of his/her abilities.
• Follow all safety rules, company policies and quality standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Duties:

• Load and unload trucks
• Move and stack materials
• Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
• Rotate floor stock
• General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
• Follow current good warehousing practice
• Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
