Material Planner

· 1. Full customer satisfaction and on time delivery in a cost-effective manner.

· 3. EDI Requirement Planning.

· 4. Tracking in-bound of production materials weekly to insure on time delivery and monthly reporting.

· 5. Input daily receiving of raw materials.

· 6. To place weekly orders with vendors adjusting for customer requirements.

· 7. Inventory Management.

· 8. To monitor material usage and research any variances.

· 9. Guarantee a First-In First-Out materials flow.

· 10. To enter freight bills in database and ok for payment.

· 11. To review weekly transportation route.

· 12. Responsibility Towards Customer

· Receive Customer Orders via EDI system and prepare daily shipping schedule on network. Advise customer about potential problems, including requirements, which cannot be met after trying everything to our ability to meet them, or data that appears to be erroneous.

· 13. Process customer orders and provides Production with bin and part labels.

· 14. Utilize interactive inventory management system.

· Utilized interactive inventory management systems, such as Direct Data Link (DDL), which is available from customer. Answer daily shortages and new model launch information requirement, in accordance with customer’s procedures.

· 15. Prepare shipping documents.

· Prepare on the network shipping documents and pass on to the Receiving Supervisor.

· 16. Insure that ASN’s are sent to customers and check cumulative ship quantities. Disagreements must be reconciled ASAP.

· Note: If internal systems prevent sending ASN’s, then a copy of the ASN must be faxed to the backup provider.

· 17. Follow-up on shipments.

· 18. SAP management in purchasing and materials module. Familiar with MIGO.

· 19. Responsible for tracking our delivery performance (to our customers) Super G delivery score, covisint.

· Will prepare monthly report about our delivery performance, for department meeting. Will also issue Corrective Action Plan in case of any non-conformity detected in our delivery performance.

· 20. Contact person for customer’s Traffic and Release & Follow up Departments.

· 21. Performance of audits in logistic department to confirm that the department is following Grupo Antolin quality systems.

· 22. To be cross functional with the Material planning & Supervisor position.

· 23. Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree and/or minimum one year related experience and/or OTJ Training in manufacturing, customer service and three (3) years materials/purchasing experience. Quality department experience (2years) in order to performance audits.

To be able to have a second language, Spanish recommended

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
