Role Purpose

The Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting GRC initiatives and programs that reduce Matillion business risk in partnership with security, IT, and business stakeholders. The position plays a key role in supporting customers' security questionnaires, internal and external audits, and stakeholders management. This position is required to support a US time zone(12/1 pm to 9/10 pm) which is hybrid or remote based on the location. This role reports to the Director of information security.

What will you be doing?

- Responsible for assisting the Matillion sales team by answering customers' security and privacy related questions within SLA’s.

- Responsible for assisting the business in terms of evaluating the vendor related cybersecurity assessments from time to time.

- Support the GRC function with its oversight of Matillion’s internal IT controls assurance initiatives, including internal and external audits from time to time. 

- Assist external customers by providing prompt responses to their security and privacy related queries.

- Aid with the evaluation and reporting of key regulatory requirements such as ISO 27001, CCPA, CSA STAR, GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC2, NIST CSF, etc.

- Update policies and procedures that enhance Matillion cybersecurity & privacy program maturity.

- Participate in risk remediation activities across IT and with business stakeholders through the risk register program.

- Automate and track tasks where necessary within JIRA.

What are we looking for?

Has good knowledge on GRC tools, security questionnaires automations, and JIRA/Confluence.

Has the ability to quickly prepare KPI’s/Powerpoint to present it to the Management.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Demonstrated success in completing team projects and working in a team environment.

Desire to build a career in the field of information systems and information security.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Ability to learn and research in a dynamic environment.
