This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience in product management and the educational publishing industry.This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. It requires up to 10% occasional travel for the year.What can you expect from the position?To be successful in this role, the candidate must be organized, flexible, and able to work on multiple projects at once. Experience in the K-12 education market, as well as in managing the creation of print and digital educational products, is preferred. Previous experience in education, editorial, or curriculum development is a plus.Product Strategy:• Contribute to the strategic product vision for specific state and district custom programs.• Assist in defining and prioritizing product requirements.• Serve as a central communicator and support individual projects.• Participate in go-to-market strategy discussions.• Monitor product performance, the competitive environment, and market changesProduct Development:• Support cross-functional teams to keep assigned projects within scope, on time, and on budget.• Assist in maintaining partnerships with external Subject Matter Experts and suppliers that contribute to our product development.• You are the glue to make sure the project continues to move forward. This may mean stepping outside of your assigned role as needed to do the little things to meet deadlines.Revenue Growth:• Collaborate with product leaders, sales, and marketing to prioritize projects that drive revenue growth.• Assist in identifying new market opportunities and recommend product enhancements to capitalize on them.Operational Excellence:• Support the creation of processes and strategies to maximize efficiencies in our build process.• Assist in the development and implementation of project management tools and practices to improve team productivity and project tracking.What We Value/What You'll Need• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.• 1-2 years of experience in product management, educational technology, or K-12 curriculum.• Familiarity with launching and managing educational products is a plus.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.• Highly organized, able to manage multiple projects, and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.• Project management experience is a plus.Why McGraw Hill?We firmly believe in the mission of educating students and helping them succeed.Our teams operate in a collaborative and safe environment where everyone’s input is valued, trusted, and respected.You’ll have opportunities for horizontal and vertical movement and growth throughout the organization, including clear career paths for your long-term personal and professional growth.
