MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER – 2nd SHIFT 6.22.2022

· Temp to Full Time Position

· 2nd Shift hours: Mon – Thursday 3:15 p.m. – 1:45 a.m.

o Training on SPLIT SHIFT: Mon – Friday: 10:00 a.m. -8:30 p.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Mechanical Assembly of a variety of simple to complex metal cabinetry to supply essential businesses. (not an “assembly line” environment)

· OTJ training provided, specific to the product being assembled.

· Will work in tandem with an experienced and seasoned Assembler already on staff.

· Must be focused, driven to produce precise “show room quality” finished products.

· Versatile, fast paced department requiring dependable and accountable team members who exhibit results that are consistently “a cut above” in accuracy & detail orientation.

REQUIRED:

^ 2-3 yrs. knowledge + experience in mechanical assembly within a manufacturing environment.
^ Ability to read and accurately interpret prints +/or schematics.

^ Mechanically inclined: demonstrated experience in ability to use a variety of power/air and hand tools including riveting.
^ Ability to lift between to 10-75 lbs. with regularity.

^ Experience in application of the following: Silicone + Butyl Sealants; Gaskets etc.

^ Physical ability to stand, squat, bend, reach, pull and push during course of an 10 hour shift.

^ High attention to detail & fine tactical ability.

^ Organizational skills.

^ Pallet jack experience
^ Ability to take direction; work independently as well as a part of a team.

^ Contribute to team dynamics, offering solutions to move projects forward.

PREFERRED:
^ Job Shop experience.

^ Previous Metal or Fabrication experience on any of the following is helpful: hardware insertion, deburring, finishing, Press Brakes, stud/spot welding, powder, paint prep., etc.

^ Knowledge of / experience with ISO standards and procedures.

^ Computer experience (Word/Excel, business software system).
^ Forklift experience helpful but not required.

^ Candidate lives in Columbus or surrounding areas with own reliable transportation.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
