Mechanical Technical Support Co-Op (FAME)

As a Co-op you’ll have the opportunity to help Philip Morris USA shape the future and deliver winning results in an exciting and dynamic time. During our paid Co-op program, you’ll experience on-the-job training, access to mentors, and educational opportunities.

You’ll be challenged and empowered to:

Learn all facets of our manufacturing processes and safety procedures.
Assist teams in identifying areas for improvement and developing/implementing solutions
Analyze and troubleshoot machinery problems in support of factory maintenance personnel
Participating in technical meetings to resolve problems or issues with machinery
Identifying and recommending spare parts lists for machinery, technical alternatives, and design improvements

To qualify for the Mechanical Technical Support Manufacturing Co-op program, student applicants must be:

18 years or older
Enrolled in "The Richard Bland College FAME Program"
Pursuing Associate’s Degree in Automation and Manufacturing Technology, preferred
Strong communicators with creative thinking skills and initiative

This Co-op is a part-time position and will be located in Richmond, VA whle attending classes at Richard Bland Community College on alternate days.
