UCL Mechanical Engineering runs a workshop facility (MechSpace) dedicated to teaching practical engineering. It is a tailored space with Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) capabilities to support multiple engineering projects, through the full design cycle to provide an environment that gives students the best possible chance to make their designs, to learn from the experience, and showcase their efforts to a wider audience. Students work alongside industry experts to learn best practice, ready for a career in engineering.
This post is to support a range of administrative functions in MechSpace primarily focussed on office management. The post-holder will also provide support to the wider team in Mechanical Engineering as & when needed.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organisation and time management skills and will demonstrate a flexible and proactive approach to work. Previous experience in general administration is essential.
