THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Full Stack Developer with expertise in backend development using Java and/or Python and frontend development using Angular or React. The ideal candidate will play a role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while ensuring best practices in coding, security, and performance.

• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java/Python for backend and Angular/React or similar technology for frontend.
• API Development & Integration: Develop RESTful APIs, integrate with third-party services, and optimize API performance.
• Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and indexing strategies in SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and work with CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery.
• Security & Performance Optimization: Implement security best practices and optimize application performance for scalability and reliability.
• Code Review & Best Practices: Follow clean coding principles, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.

• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in Java and/or Python for backend development.
• Hands-on experience with Angular or React for frontend development.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines

• Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code efficiently.
• Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

• Effective communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated with industry trends.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements and business needs.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is preferred; however, candidates with 3+ years of hands-on development experience will also be considered.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack development, with proficiency in backend technologies (Java and/or Python) and frontend frameworks (Angular or React).
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Good understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines
• Healthcare Technology experience is a plus
