You’ll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation in a more connected, compassionate world.A Day in the LifeThe Principal Financial Analyst – US Sales Finance role within the Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Finance team is a critical role that will partner with our US commercial sales organization to support sales forecasts and drive sales analytics in a fast-paced, high-growth operating unit.This position will provide analytical insights and business decision support to the CAS U.S. Finance Lead and the commercial sales organization, including Area Sales Directors and Regional Managers.The position will assist with developing revenue and reporting analytics for CAS leadership, along with compensation plan development and incentive alignment, the Quota setting process, and will provide key financial insights for operating unit and strategic planning purposes. This position will collaborate across functions on our various capital equipment sales models to standardize compliance tracking and quarterly check-ins with our field team.The ideal candidate will be expected to be working from a Medtronic site in Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a hybrid work schedule, being on-site in the office 4 days/week.Responsibilities:• Develop and monitor key performance measures (financial and non-financial) to support long-term performance and strategic objectives.• Financial support for the commercial sales organization, including Area Directors and Regional Managers• Key contributor to strategic planning and AOP processes, including field alignment and roll-out of sales incentive plan.• Monthly and quarterly financial statement review of the U.S. CAS P&L, including analytics to drive insight with leadership team to drive behavior and inform future forecasting cycles.• Support of sales account administration to enable salesforce performance, including procedure volume trends and account strategy segmentation.• Proactively improve and standardize operating mechanisms for driving regional sales accountability.• Partnership with Marketing and Commercial organizations on capital equipment sales models and performance tracking.Must Have: Minimum Requirements• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Strategy or technical areas (5+ years with an advanced degree).Nice to Have:• CPA or MBA• Strong leadership skills• Excellent oral and written communications• Ability to perform under pressure and in a very dynamic environment• An ability to work with all levels of management• Strong computer skills in spreadsheet, presentation and work processing software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)• A high degree of initiative and motivation for process improvement• Strong strategic thinking, analytical and valuation skills• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and lead others• Strong organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage several projects simultaneouslyAbout CAS (Cardiac Ablation Solutions)The Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) operating unit is highly innovative, with a full suite of electrophysiology (EP) solutions to treat patients with arrhythmias, including paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation (AF). PR) locations (USD):$103,200.00 - $154,800.00This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
