Staff Accountant - Wilmington, NC
MegaCorp Logistics is seeking a Staff Accountant to work in their NetSuite environment, responsible for daily accounting tasks, financial reporting, and assisting with audits. Competitive benefits package included.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Good problem-solving and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel ability
Responsibilities
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Track fixed assets and conduct internal audits
- Ensure compliance with GAAP
- Assist Accounting Supervisor and Controller as needed
Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred
