Member Assistance Officer (Spanish Preferred)

Idaho Central Credit Union’s mission is to help our members achieve financial success. As a Member Assistance Officer, you will manage various accounts, verify documents and information, and assist our members by answering their financial inquiries and making helpful recommendations.

• Ability to speak spanish is preferred.

At work, your Primary Responsibilities will include:

• Managing delinquent loan accounts and overdrawn checking accounts.
• Analyzing risk to reduce loss by reviewing delinquency reports and insurance.
• Verifying account research and error corrections.
• Answering basic questions regarding bankruptcy, deceased, home help and repossession.
• Contacting members by telephone, letter, or in person for payment arrangements.
• Counseling and making informed recommendations to members with financial problems.
• Updating applications and interviewing past due members.
• Maintaining accurate records of contact with members.

Before you apply, make sure you have:

• One year of experience in a customer service role or similar role.
• The ability to always maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records.

Also, please let us know in your application if you have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

This role will also require some physical abilities including the ability to sit for extended periods of time, lift 20-40 pounds of office supplies, reach keyboards, and operate basic office machines.
