Merchandise Processor I

Overview

:

The Merchandise Processor I is responsible for accurately and concisely receiving merchandise from outside manufacturers; carding and tagging this merchandise and distributing it to the stores.

Responsibilities

:
  • Responsible for keeping supervisor informed as to what is happening within areas of your responsibility.
  • Monthly inventory counting and checking.
  • Filing and recording of documents.
  • Special projects as needed.
  • Data entry.
  • Position is responsible for performing any other duties or functions which are mandated and/or needed by management.
  • May also be responsible for
    • Receiving merchandise from outside manufacturers and stores including all documentation of same.
    • Pulling of finished goods stock
    • Serializing and tagging of product
    • Shipping to stores and vendors both domestically and internationally
    • Quality checking product, ensuring records are accurate
    • Entering invoices into the system for payment

Qualifications

:
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Possess excellent manual dexterity with small items.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Intermediate skills with Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability with math:
    • Adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing
    • Understanding and ability to work with decimal numbers, fractions, and percentages.
  • Experience with SAP preferred

Work Environment

:
The primary environment for this role is an open work space which is brightly lit, subdued with regard to bright color and decoration, and relatively free of clutter. Considerable business is conducted using the telephone and computer technology. Work requires dexterity with small objects, visual acuity, and ability to discern color gradations. Travel may be required to stores, conferences or events up to 5% of the time.

The salary range for this role is $21.00 - $25.00 per hour. The range describes the minimum to maximum likely rate for this job description in the state of Colorado. Individual pay will be determined based on skills and qualifications for the role. The salary range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of Colorado.
