Join our exceptional team and help us continue to provide the highest quality of health care possible to our communities.Primary Function/General Purpose Of PositionThe Clinical Quality Manager, Urgent Care will coordinate the maintenance, development, implementation, and analysis of processes and programs related to regulatory and accreditation requirements and quality management programs. The Manager is responsible for the optimization of urgent care quality programs including identifying opportunities for improvement, financial performance, compliance with quality standards, workflow development, patient experience, and billing compliance. The Manager will develop and lead training programs and performance improvement strategies to ensure quality, safety, and other key operational measures are met.Essential Job Functions• Monitors key performance indicators (quality, financial, throughput, etc.) on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Identifies opportunities for improvement and develops plans to implement changes and to meet budget. Coordinates regulatory, accreditation, and certification surveys.• Participates in the Train the Trainer program and provides guidance and training to center staff. Ensures optimal staff training and satisfaction.• Collaborates with business leaders to oversee the quality program to include infection prevention, safety, and lab compliance. Promotes practices that detect, mitigate, or prevent harm.• Assists with electronic medical records (EMR) training and optimization, including improvement of clinical workflow, and front desk process.• Designs quality training program, develops protocols and safety survey cadences to ensure compliance in various areas (e.g., lab, pharmacy, environment of care, and infection control).• Monitors expenses across the centers (e.g., supplies, vendors, etc.). Provides recommendations for improvements and oversees implementation.• Ensures appropriate network integration by monitoring patient referrals and intervening when necessary to address service issues.• Assists in the orientation and onboarding of new clinical staff ensuring all clinical and EMR competencies are verified.• Monitors events reported in SafeCare platform. Participates in and lead Root Cause Analyses and monthly safety drills.• May perform lab and diagnostic tests, disposing of contaminated supplies, patient registration, scheduling, phone triage, cash handling, check-in and/or check-out, scribing duties on an as needed basis.• Ensures all staffing models are compliant with industry-specific, state-regulations.This document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
