Sr. Director, Investor Relations #1679

The Sr. Director of Investor Relations will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic investor relations program to communicate the company’s vision, financial performance, and growth strategy to the investment community. This individual will collaborate with senior leadership, including the CFO, President, and CEO, to enhance shareholder value and ensure consistent messaging across all investor communications.

 

Key Responsibilities


Investor Strategy & Communication: 

- Develop and implement a comprehensive investor relations strategy that aligns with MeridianLink’s business objectives.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for the investment community, conducting quarterly calls, providing access to management, and facilitating feedback.

- Craft clear, concise, and compelling messaging for earnings calls, investor presentations, and press releases.

 

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Drive the earnings reporting process with management, including script and earnings release reviews, Q&A practice, setting a beat and raise cadence, and managing consensus estimates. 

- Collaborate with the finance team and broader company to prepare and communicate quarterly earnings results, guidance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

- Analyze market trends, peer performance, and investor sentiment to provide actionable insights to executive leadership.

 

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong and trusted relationships with institutional investors and analysts, including active targeting to seed high-quality investors and new analyst coverage.

- Organize and participate in marketing events such as investor conferences, roadshows, and an Investor Day to drive demand for the stock.

 

Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and disclosure requirements for publicly traded companies.

- Maintain and update the investor relations section of the company website with timely and accurate information.

 

Internal Collaboration:

- Partner with senior leadership, corporate communications, and legal teams to ensure alignment in messaging and adherence to corporate governance standards.

- Interact cross-functionally to incorporate strategic planning initiatives in short and long-term messaging and surface any potential risks for management to disclose in order to maintain credibility.

 

Qualifications

 

Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) or CFA designation is preferred.

 

Experience:

- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in investor relations, corporate communications, or financial management.

- Strong knowledge of capital markets, financial modeling, and public company operations.

 

Skills:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and credibility with investors and internal stakeholders.

- Strategic thinker with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.

Salary range of $184,200 - $260,000. [It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.] The actual salary will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law including geographical location.
